| AC8Y | MSH | Trying a Multi-Single with internet remote operators. Actually for this contest, working in a VNC windows is not much different than working from home. Really no difference. This was a part time operation while I was traveling, which gave me the idea to team up with long time friend AC8Y and his fine station for this effort. My biggest complaint is working off a 15.7 inch laptop screen. The N1MM integeration with WSJT-X worked perfectly. Many contacts sending a signal report and not in contest mode with sequence issues. I would try to get ahead of it and send a forced RR73 and move on. I need to look at last years score but I feel like less operators in the contest running in contest mode. Never went to 10 or 160 meters. 15M was good but I was not on for some of the prime 15M hours. 40M was good on Sunday morning for picking up OC mults and contacts at 6 points each. In setting up for the contest, I had some repeated walk throughs of the great setup guide at RTTYcontesting.com. I have gone through this enough times I should be an expert. Hi HI see you next time |
